Korra tries to imprison Vaatu while Mako and Bolin oppose Unalaq. With help from Desna and Eska, Unalaq overpowers Mako and Bolin, ambushes Korra, and unites with Vaatu. Korra and Unalaq then oppose each other in their respective Avatar states. In the spirit world, Tenzin and his siblings come across Iroh, who indicates how to find Jinora. Tenzin then ventures into the Fog of Lost Souls, which drives humans mad with their self-doubts. Kya and Bumi quickly succumb to the fog and Tenzin nearly does as well; but is visited by Aang's spirit, by whose advice Tenzin temporarily clears the fog and frees his relations. Jinora realizes that Vaatu is free and leaves to help Raava. Mako and Bolin convince Eska and Desna to free them; but Korra is overpowered by Unalaq, who destroys Raava and Korra's connection with the past Avatars. Unalaq transforms into a the darkest spirit that ever existed and teleports away, shocking Korra, Mako, and Bolin.

 

Tenzin and his siblings find Korra and her friends wounded and unconscious. Once healed by Kya, Korra states that with Raava gone the cycle is broken and she is now the last Avatar. Unalaq attacks Republic City. During the attack, Varrick escapes prison. In the spirit world, Tenzin leads Korra to the Tree of Time and tells her to meditate within it. As she meditates, Korra unlocks her innermost spiritual energy and teleports to Republic City to discover a fragment of Raava within Vaatu, for Vaatu cannot live without Raava. Jinora's spirit having illuminated the fragment, Korra withdraws Raava and purifies Vaatu, killing Unalaq. Tenzin, Kya, Bumi, Mako, and Bolin stay in the spirit world to defend Korra's body from dark spirits, and are later joined by Eska and Desna. They are about to be overrun when Korra's spirit and Raava return, destroying of the dark spirits. Korra and Raava then unite; but Korra's link with the previous Avatars remains severed. Instead of closing the spirit portals, Korra leaves them open, believing that spirits and humans were meant to coexist, and announces to the Southern Water Tribe, that they are now independent from the North. Korra also announces that she no longer connects the physical and spirit worlds, which role is now served by the portals. Korra and Mako officially end their relationship after the former regained her memory of her first breakup with him.

Bolin visits Mako in prison, and Mako tries to warn his brother against Varrick. Disbelieving him, Bolin goes to the finale of his television series, which President Raiko is also attending. During the performance, Bolin foils an apparent attempt to kidnap President Raiko. When he interrogates one of the kidnappers, the latter incriminates Varrick, who is promptly arrested and Mako freed. Korra warns President Raiko about the Harmonic Convergence and Unalaq's plans to take over the world; but President Raiko retains his army to defend Republic City. Korra turns to Varrick to help, who agrees to give her his personal battleship. At the South Pole, Tonraq is defeated by Unalaq.

Korra and her friends discover that the Southern resistance is suppressed and Tonraq captured, while Jinora nears death. With Harmonic Convergence hours away, Korra and her friends stage a frontal attack on the fortified South Pole, wherein everybody except Bumi are captured. Bumi infiltrates the camp and inadvertently destroys it and frees Korra and her friends. They all follow Unalaq into the portal except for Asami, who takes an injured Tonraq to Katara for healing. While Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi seek Jinora, Korra goes to close the portals while Mako and Bolin hold off Unalaq, who reveals that he plans to unite with Vaatu, to become a Dark Avatar and rule the world. Korra is too late to stop the Harmonic Convergence and Vaatu is freed.

In the spirit world with Jinora, Korra must contend with the difficult relationships between spirits. When the two are separated, Korra is transformed into a childlike version of herself. She is rescued by Iroh, who teaches her to control her emotions and tells her to help a young phoenix-like spirit return home. When Korra does this, the phoenix spirit combines with others in its nest, while Korra is restored to her proper age of 18 and taken to the spirit portals. Meanwhile, Jinora finds Wan Shi Tong's Library and convinces Wan Shi Tong to allow her to learn about the spirit portal. While learning that Vaatu's seal can be broken if both portals are opened at the Harmonic Convergence, Jinora learns that Wan Shi Tong is in league with Unalaq. Attempting to rescue Jinora, Korra is forced by Unalaq to open the northern portal. After a short battle, Korra is rescued by the phoenix spirit and forced out of the spirit world without Jinora, who remains bodily in a coma.

Korra seeks Tenzin's help to enter the spirit world; but Tenzin's attempts fail, and she is instead guided by Jinora. In Republic City, Mako continues his investigation of Varrick. When Asami goes to cheer Mako, his apartment is raided by the police and they find evidence that he was responsible for the thefts from Future Industries, set up by Varrick. In the South Pole, Unalaq fails to open the sealed North Pole portal himself, and reports to Vaatu, who promises that Korra shall come to them.

Di bawah ini beberapa istilah kualitas film yang sering muncul ketika kita akan mendownload sebuah film;


CAM
Tipe ini merupakan kualitas terburuk dari sebuah film. Sumber film direkam dari bioskop dengan menggunakan video kamera portabel / handycam. Selain gambarnya buram, suaranya juga buruk, karena banyak noise yang ikut terekam, misal suara penonton. Diantara itu semua yang paling menyebalkan adalah, gambar kadang sering bergerak-gerak, hal ini mungkin disebabkan karena kamera yang digunakan untuk merekam film tersebut bergoyang. Kualitas video ini sangat jelek.

TELESYNC (TS)
Kualitasnya gambarnya sama dengan CAM, hanya bedanya hanya di suaranya yang agak lumayan, soalnya suaranya direkam lewat line khusus, biasanya di bioskop ada line khusus yang biasanya digunakan untuk orang yang pendengarannya terganggu, nah si pembajak menggunakan media ini. TS merupakan CAM yang telah dilabel ulang.

TELECINE (TC)
Kualitas gambar dan suaranya bagus, karena dicopy dari sumber aslinya. Yaitu metode pengkopian film digital langsung dari pita. Kualitas suara dan gambarnya sudah sangat baik. Namun karena peralatan yang dibutuhkan untuk merekam telecine ini sangat jarang ditemui dan sudah menjadi langka.Biasanya film ini masih memiliki time counter di atas dan bawahnya layarnya. Misalnya saja dulu, waktu itu film ayat-ayat cinta beredar 3 minggu sebelum tayang, kualitasnya bagus, namun masih terdapat time counter di atas dan bawah layar film tersebut.

SCREENER (SCR)
Film jenis ini biasanya dicopy dari video VHS yang telah resmi di release. Ciri khas film dengan flag ini adalah, masih adanya peraturan undang-undang hak cipta di awal film tersebut. Kualitasnya cukup baik, karena dicopy dari sumber aslinya langsung.

VCD
Biasanya digunakan untuk transfer kualitas rendah (CAM / TS / TC / Screener (VHS) / TVrip (analog) untuk membuat ukuran file yang lebih kecil.

DVD-SCREENER (DVDScr)
Sama dengan SCREENER hanya pada tipe ini, data diubah kedalam format DVD. Merupakan dupiklat dari promo DVD yang akan digunakan sebagai promosi. DVDScr akan ada sebelum DVD originalnya keluar di pasaran. Kualitas gambar dan suaranya hampir setara dengan DVDRip, hanya saja pada gambar video sering terdapat beberapa tulisan penjelasan yang terpampang di layar tentang DVD tersebut yang biasanya sedikit menggangu kita.

DVDRip
Sumber film di copy dari DVD release resminya. Kualitasnya sangat baik, karena langsung dicopy dari sumber aslinya. Jadi DVDrip bakal ada kalau DVD resminya sudah di rilis. Bisa mendukung maksimal 720×480 atau 720×576.

R5
Untuk tipe ini, kualitas gambar hampir setara dengan DVDRip, tetapi untuk kualitas suara biasanya agak jelek (cempreng), meskipun ada beberapa yang kualitas suaranya sudah bagus, namun tetap saja masih ada sedikit noise sehingga mengurangi kenyamanan dalam menonton film tersebut sourcenya berasal dari DVD yang telah release terlebih dahulu di Rusia.

TVRip / Episodes
Film dengan jenis ini, biasanya direkam langsung pada saat film tersebut sedang disiarkan. Kulitas bergantung pada stasiun televisi yang menyiarkan, apakah film tersebut disiarkan dalam format high definition atau tidak. Kalau film tersebut disiarkan dengan format high definition, maka kualitasnya akan sangat baik.

DSRip (Digital Satelite)
Direkam dari transmisi satelite, kualiatasnya baik, biasanya di encode dalam format xvid.

PDTV (Pure Digital TV) / HDTV (High Definition TV)
Film jenis ini direkam melalui jaringan TV digital dengan menggunakan Tv Tuner yang mendukung format digital. Kualitasnya sangat baik, biasanya di encode dalam format xvid.

WORKPRINT (WP)
Merupakan salinan dari film yang belum selesai, yang belum diedit efek visulnya secara keseluruhan, biasanya terdapat adegan yang hilang, suara yang tidak beraturan. Kualitas film dengan tipe ini bevariasi, dari yang paling baik hingga yang paling buruk.

DivX Re-Enc
Merupakan film yang disalin dari DVD / VCD aslinya, damun di encode ulang, untuk menghasilkan ukuran yang lebih kecil. Tipe ini sering dijumpai pada dunia underground dan fansub. Contoh film-film anime biasanya tergolong ke dalam jenis ini.

Bluray/HD
Resolusi jauh lebih besar yaitu 1920×1080 atau 1280×720 (tergantung filenya). Konsekuensinya, file jadi besar dan memutarnya juga berat, sehingga diperlukan spesifikasi komputer yang tinggi juga. kalau tidak nanti jadi patah-patah. Kualitas ini jauh lebih baik dari DVDRip.

mHD
Mini/micro HD, hampir sama dengan HD, tetapi dengan resolusi yang lebih kecil yaitu 1280×5xx, sehingga ukuran filepun juga lebih kecil dibandingkan HD.

Biasanya urutan keluarnya sebuah film di internet yaitu sebagai berikut, meskipun tidak selalu :
CAM -> TS -> R5 / DVDScr -> DVDRip -> BRRip
